Day 5 Friday 11
The fun and games really ramped up today.
Many attended the event for the first time today, swelling the numbers. Along with this was another event to be remembered.

Raymond, the groom, in his very best (NEDS Jeans of course) ready for his wedding

Carol the bride. Unfortunately NEDS don’t make wedding dresses.
Raymond and Carol were married on the grounds of the A.G.M.
As can be seen, NEDS Ironhorse were chosen as the official groom attire, while the official groomsman attire was NEDS Iconic.

Day 2 Tuesday March 9
For Willy Nelson it was “On The Road Again” for NEDS it was “On The Run Again.” Tuesday started at a fast pace and kept going at that pace.
Again and again we were meeting old friends and making new ones. What a terrific and friendly bunch these Ulyssians are.
The introduction of our “Evasion” top has taken this group by storm. The “Evasion” is a high quality, fully Kevlar lined, sweatshirt. With great breathability due to the knitted fabric, it can be worn over the top of a tee shirt, giving protection against cuts, scratches, and abrasions, to the upper body. It can also be worn as fashion statement, or just to keep you warm.

What a fabulous model “young” Chris is???????
Just looking over the crowd and it great to see a covering of orange with NEDS bags and caps spread around.

Day 1 Monday 8th March 2010.
Busy, busy, busy is all that can be said. Monday morning 8th March saw the beginning of the 2010 Ulysses Club A.G.M. event held in Albany, West Australia. NEDS committed to attending from the other side of Australia, and after a mammoth effort arrived to set up on Sunday 7th. Just as well, because Monday morning the flood gates opened and away we went. NEDS is becoming a universally accepted brand name in the arena of motorcycle wear. The standards have been raised, accepted and are now the norm. With three staff working flat strap all day – even an hour after official close of trade for the day, all retreated to their homes well and truly worn out. What a reception from this group of avid motorcyclists.
Just as I write this I have just had a comment from a member of the Port Stephens branch, Ron Skinner. Ron had previously bought a pair of Kelly cargoes, in mocha. He stated how incredibly comfortable they were on the long ride across this country. East to West, some 4,500 klms, riding in NEDS, getting off after a few days stating he was as comfortable as he was when he started. What more can we say!!!!!!!!!!!
The word is that registrations for this event are running at about 3,300, with about 50% registered on Monday.

Well the “Bear” has done it. RoadRider has brought out a sister magazine for those who just want to specialise in cruisers. The first issue reached the newsagents recently and has been a big hit. It is a bi-monthly issue, so expect the next one in a few weeks. Good luck fellas.

While on a trip to the U.S.A. we were travelling along toward Fernandino Beach near Jacksonville Florida recently when we came across a number of bikes parked up, so we decided to investigate. There was bikes, bikes, and more bikes. Probably about a hundred or so. “We’re down on numbers tonight – it’s holiday time,” someone commented. This was a usual Thursday night activity. Jump on the bike – no matter what sort you ride, and head on down to Murray’s Grille for a drink, listen to some music, and tell a few stories. It was an interesting place with some interesting people, some of whom would have some interesting stories. There were all sorts of bikes from a fabulous white chopper – ridden in by one of the fairer sex, to an immaculate Can-Am Spyder, as well as Gold Wing trikes, and an enormous number of “Big V Twins.”
If you happen to be near Yulee, Florida on any Thursday night, drop in to Murray’s Grille – you won’t miss it.
