NEDS came about after hearing many complaints about existing motorcycle riding jeans where other riders were commenting “the Kevlar® is scratchy,” or “this doesn’t fit very well,” or “why does comfort have to be sacrificed for safety?”

The founders of NEDS ride on day rides, on weekenders, and have completed many longer trips on their bikes, but had no answer to the questions being put up, so in search of these answers they set up NEDS.

NEDS is “by riders for riders.”

NEDS is not a company who produced another item then just saw a market to make huge money in. NEDS have seen a need and with all of the experience and knowledge gained over the years while riding, and working in the clothing industry set out to supply a product that answers the questions.

Why NEDS you might say? In search of a name the thought came up, “I wonder how Ned Kelly would have gone wearing these?” Ned Kelly and his gang were tough, with that Irish heritage that stood up to the status quo. Many came before, and many have come and gone since, but Ned and his gang are still the benchmark. So too NEDS motorcycle apparel will become the benchmark for safety and comfort in this industry, willing to stand up for the rider and offer, not just a good product at a great price, but one that will be comfortable, economical, and have safety as a premium.

NEDS has no intention of producing many thousands just to make a quick buck. NEDS is available to purchase on-line, and through selected retailers only.
